We will do our utmost best to offer you a fantastic experience.
Please note, when making a booking online, to specify where you would like to sit (Main restaurant, Brasserie or Terrace). Do not hesitate to call the restaurant if your choice is not available online.
1. We only accept reservations for a maximum of 8 guests. Please note that we have a limited number of tables available that can accommodate 8 people;
2. Please refrain from bringing party materials (balloons etc.). Please enquire about our specific rules and regulations in the Private Dining Room;
3. It is with regret, but in the interest of our other guests that we cannot allow children under the age of 10 in the MAIN Restaurant. There may be very limited spaces available in the Brasserie or on the Terrace for children older than 5yrs only. Buggies, prams, etc. are not allowed on the premises at all times, nor do our risk assessments allow for the use of high chairs (except in our Private Dining Room). Please enquire about our specific rules and regulations in the Private Dining Room;
4. Please avoid paying by cash;
5. Dogs are not allowed in the Restaurant, Brasserie or Terrace with the exception of assistance dogs;
6. A small smoking/vaping section is available at the side of the building. Please refrain from smoking or vaping in front of the restaurant;
7. Chapter One Restaurant Ltd. accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to any items left in its care or whilst in possession with the guest, unless it is due to negligence on the part of Chapter One Restaurant Ltd;
8. Guest can request a certain table, however, the reservation team can never guarantee a certain table and we reserve the right to make changes as and when required;
9. The Restaurant and Brasserie menu can change at a very short notice. The menus advertised on our website are sample menus only. We are very sorry if on rare occasions your first choice is not available.
10. In the event that a booking is not honoured in whole or in part, which includes reducing numbers, or is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of £20 per person will be charged to the card provided or a pre-paid deposit will not be refunded.
