An Evening with Bacardi at Chapter One

Hosted by Chef Patron Andrew McLeish at Chapter One in Locksbottom, this exclusive Bacardi rum tasting event offers an immersive journey into the world’s most recognised rum. Guests will enjoy a masterclass exploring five premium Bacardi expressions, each thoughtfully paired with bespoke gourmet canapés crafted in our award-winning kitchen to complement the distinct flavours.
The Bacardi story began in Santiago de Cuba in 1862, when Don Facundo Bacardí Massó set out to create a more refined style of rum.
Through experimentation with distillation, charcoal filtration and ageing, he helped establish a distinctive approach to rum-making that would go on to shape the Bacardi style for generations.
Bacardi Rum Tasting
Beginning at 6.30pm, our tasting will explore the heritage and evolution of Bacardi through five different expressions.
Guests will be welcomed with a signature rum cocktail upon arrival before savouring each of the five premium rums alongside bespoke canapés, expertly crafted by our culinary team to perfectly complement the spirit’s unique flavour profile. We’ll then round off the masterclass with a specially curated nightcap cocktail.
