Beginning at 6:30 pm, this intimate gathering invites guests on a transcontinental culinary journey to explore the varied landscapes and prestigious winemaking styles of the American West Coast.
Your host, Andrew Meltzer – Brand Ambassador for American Wines – will take you across California and Oregon as we explore the West Coast’s varied landscapes and winemaking styles.
A selection of six wines will feature celebrated estates such as Ridge Vineyards and Domaine Drouhin Oregon, as well as the cult favourite, Cobb Wines, and America’s oldest premium winery, Chateau Beuna Vista.
To elevate this masterclass, our expert kitchen team has designed a selection of bespoke modern European appetisers, showcasing the finest seasonal Kentish produce to beautifully complement each American vintage’s distinct flavour profile.
Guests can enjoy crisp, high-altitude Riesling, a vibrant white Rhone blend, and Chardonnay produced with a Burgundian touch, followed by a cool-climate Pinot and emblematic California reds.
The line-up will showcase vineyards planted on exceptionally diverse terroirs, from ancient sea beds to limestone cliffs, volcanic remains, and fog-covered valleys.
