While Europe boasts many celebrated wine regions, Bulgaria remains an exceptional hidden gem. With an ancient viticultural history, it is widely considered the finest wine-producing nation among the Balkan countries, offering vintages of remarkable character and depth.
One of the country’s leading estates is the Bratanov Winery, born from the dedication of a father and his sons on a mission to restore their family’s winemaking tradition after a fifty-year hiatus. Their vineyards sit upon the sun-drenched hills of the Sakar Mountains in southern Bulgaria—a region highly regarded as one of the finest terroirs in the country. Here, they craft limited batches of outstanding wine using wild fermentation and low-intervention methods, producing elegant flavour profiles that pair beautifully with fine dining.

We are delighted to welcome our esteemed colleague Dilyan, alongside two prominent figures from the Bulgarian wine industry: Maria, Head Winemaker, and Tanya, Export and Marketing Manager of the Bratanov Winery. They look forward to sharing their exquisite vintages with you, offering a truly memorable tasting experience.
